Serve The Sport!
Mike Horelick contacted me back in May 2004 concerning some old Tunnel ads in SkateBoarder Magazine.
He later contacted me about his plans to relaunch Tunnel Skateboards in June 2005.
He contacted me again in April 2006, after talking with John Hughes, about acquiring film footage I had of the Signal Hill Speed Run Races.
These video clips were taken from old Super "8" footage that I had taken during the few years (1975-1978) they were being held.
I sent a CD of my digitized Signal Hill Race movie clips to Mike in February 2008.
Mike, Jon and myself met at their production studio in August 2011 so I could drop off my original Super 8 film footage to them.
I didn't hear from them again until after the premier of their documentary on the weekend of January 26th.
These films belong to the skaters who made it happen and I was glad to share my films with Mike & Jon for their documentary project.
Serving the Sport of Skateboarding remains a high priority.
